Together, we return home

Ghana 11 - 17 october 2026

A homecoming
of the soul

In the green heart of Aburi, Ghana, we invite you into a deeply transformative journey of healing, joy, connection, and remembrance.

Through inner work, movement, dance, meditation, and other experiences rooted in connection and intention, we create space for you to return to your essence: back to the body, back to the heart, back to yourself.

Together, we move between depth and lightness, stillness and celebration, release and joy. Held within a warm and intentional community, you are invited to soften, reconnect with your spirit and ancestors, and remember the wisdom already living within you.

Depth and Joy

This retreat is designed to guide you deeply inward, while equally inviting joy, pleasure and connection.

Ghana teaches us that joy can coexist with the depths of life. It carries a powerful energy of connection, spirit, rhythm, community, and aliveness.
Here, healing is not separate from joy. Music, dance, ceremony, nature, and togetherness are deeply woven into daily life, reminding us that healing can be both profound and joyful.

Through our program, we invite you into a deeply transformative journey where every emotion, experience, and part of yourself is welcome.

For who

A soul-based calling

This retreat is for those who feel the call.
A soul-based calling beyond roots, age, background, or gender.
It is for those who wish to heal in community, through West African wisdom.

Whether it is an ancestral homecoming, or a homecoming of the soul that only Ghana can awaken. It is for those who wish to experience Ghana with guidance, emotionally, spiritually, and energetically held. We gather as a diverse group: local Ghanaians, people from the diaspora, Europeans, and others from around the world who feel this call.

Together, we return home.

Experience

You do not need to have dance experience, be flexible, artistic, spiritually trained, or have experience with any of the practices we offer. We use movement, yoga, meditation, art and dance as tools for healing and connection. You are invited to come exactly as you are.

Meet the Hosts

This journey is held by a team of experienced, professional, and passionate facilitators.
Together, we guide the retreat with care, intention, and deep presence.

What this journey offers

Every part of the retreat is intentionally designed to support your process, deepen your connection, and guide you back to your essence.
Together, we travel from the mind back into the heart.

Location: The Tree House Aburi

Nestled in the lush hills of Aburi, The Tree House B&B offers a peaceful sanctuary surrounded by nature, stillness, and fresh mountain air.

Rooted in community, connection, and conscious living, this unique space invites you to slow down, reconnect, and fully immerse yourself in the retreat experience. With its open views, gardens, trees, and grounding energy, The Tree House creates the perfect environment for rest, healing, reflection, and transformation.

The land is lovingly held by hosts Yao and Adwoa, who create a warm and intentional space where everything is carefully attuned to support your journey. Their presence, care, and connection to the land are deeply woven into the experience.
Far away from the noise of daily life, the land itself becomes part of the healing journey.

Ghana has a tropical climate, and October falls at the end of a short rainy season. Around The Tree House in Aburi, this means warm days and softer, cooler evenings. Occasional light tropical showers keep the hills beautifully green. Thanks to Aburi’s higher elevation, the air feels a little cooler and breezier than in Accra.
